*Carnival Corporation & plc Statement on Reinstatement of Fuel Supplements.  MIAMI (June 10, 2009) - At the time we suspended fuel supplements for our six North American brands, we reserved the right to reinstate them if the price of light sweet crude oil, according to the NYMEX, should increase above $70 per barrel. While we have now exceeded that threshold, in light of the economic crisis and resulting consumer weakness, we presently have no plans to institute a fuel supplement. We will continue to monitor the situation in the markets and review our position as the situation warrants.

  • Gratuities to the staff  (The crew works very hard to make sure that every aspect of your cruise meets the highest standards.   In order to make sure that the staff is recognized for their efforts, the cruise line will charge $11 per guest per day on your shipboard account. You have the option to increase or decrease this amount depending on the service you receive.

  • A deposit of $350 per person ($700 per stateroom) will hold your space.

Pre- Cruise Hotel Nights in Seattle
We have a special group rate at the Edgewater Hotel in Seattle, Washington for two nights, September 22 and 23. The rate of $165 per night. Call Kathy Summers from Designed For You Travel (800-860-7155 or 630-983-7300) or email her at kathy@designedforyoutravel.com for reservations. 
We are planning a reception at the hotel on September 22.  We will have services at the hotel during the morning of September 23 and 24.  No services will be held aboard the ship on Wednesday, September 29.
